On Monday, September 16, nearly 100 visitors to the international trade fair IBC 2019 attended the SCTE Lecture Meeting. There were three guest speakers in the Emerald Room of RAI Amsterdam: Gabor Molnar (Divitel B.V.), Dominique De Paepe (Skyline Communications) and Dr.-Ing. Alexander C. Adams (Adams Network Engineering GmbH). The photos will give an impression of the meeting.
The SCTE Autumn Lecture and AGM will take place on 9 October 2019 at One Great George Street in Westminster, London. SCTE members can vote for the new SCTE Executive at the AGM, after listening to a set of inspiring presentations on subjects ranging from European fibre trends to RF testing and 5G.
NLconnect will hold its Breeduit Annual Congress on 10 September 2019. An interesting programme has been put together around the theme '5G: Beyond the Hype'. Speakers from Huawei, T-Mobile and Eurofiber have been confirmed, to be followed by various introductions from key players from the FttH world. Members of SCTE Benelux can participate in this annual congress at a special rate: they pay €295, instead of €395.
The SCTETM (Society for Broadband Professionals) has confirmed the winners of its prestigious 2019 Individual Achievement awards. The winners were announced at its Annual Gala Awards Dinner on Saturday 29 June 2019 at the prestigious venue of Hatfield Old Palace (UK). This key networking event in the industry calendar featured a champagne reception, four-course dinner, entertainment, a fun casino and dancing.

Karting Center Coronel in Huizen (NL) was the launch venue for the SCTE Benelux Group Summer Meeting on Thursday 20 June 2019. A few dozen members spent the afternoon combining knowledge with driving skills and speed.
