With the appointment of two new members, the board of SCTE Benelux Group is back at full strength. Robert Schotman is a general board member from 1 April 2021, Ruud Tilly will take over the duties of interim secretary Ruud Wielaard.

The SCTE organised an online Autumn Lecture on 7 October 2020. Vincent Garnier, Director General, FTTH Council Europe did a lecture on “The State of Fibre: Market Panorama 2020”.

LONDON, 1 NOVEMBER 2020: Rien Baan, SCTE Benelux Group Secretary since its inauguration in 2003 at IBC, was voted in as Vice President of the SCTE, Society for Broadband Professionals, at its virtual Executive Meeting on 28 October 2020. He will resign from his current post as Secretary of the Benelux Group on 1 November 2020.

SCTE Benelux organized an online Lunch Lecture to replace the IBC Lecture.
