Free fibre and DOCSIS 3.1 training

SCTE has made free special editions of the SCTE Fibre Optic Transmission for Technicians and DOCSIS 3.1 training programmes available to all members. They can be found on the SCTE’s special training website at www.broadbandtraining.eu.

The free shortened courses were intended as a gift for members, celebrating the 75th anniversary of the SCTE. However, as anniversary celebrations have been postponed for one year due to the COVID-19 outbreak, we have decided to hand out the courses to members as a gift! www.broadbandtraining.eu/lms As many people are now working from home, it is a good opportunity for members to upskill and improve their knowledge.

SCTE training is widely accepted as the standard for young technicians that want to develop in fibre and cable telecommunications. It increases their knowledge and offers better career opportunities. Students who successfully complete a course become accredited SCTE technicians and receive SCTE certificates.
