The SCTE Benelux online lecture is part of IBC Showcase

Download the invitation today. The SCTE Benelux online lunch lecture in September is now part of the IBC Showcase, and will now take place on Thursday 10 September 2020. Held from 12:00 to 13:00 CET, it will feature two speakers on ‘5G and extended HFC: the fibre challengers’. The speakers are Anne van Otterlo, Account CTO, Nokia on ‘5G opportunities in Video and Gaming’, and Toon Norp, Senior Business Consultant, TNO on ‘The role of 5G for Fixed Broadband Access’. Afterwards, attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions.

Is 5G a challenge or a gateway to greater possibilities within HFC networks? Can one system do without the other and still provide the required data speeds and (if so) for how long? In this special online lecture, the presenters will try and highlight various options. Not all issues may be covered in these limited 20-minute presentations, but the Q&A afterwards will give participants a better understanding of the options.
