Don’t miss SCTE Autumn Lecture and AGM
The SCTE Autumn Lecture and AGM will take place on 9 October 2019 at One Great George Street in Westminster, London. SCTE members can vote for the new SCTE Executive at the AGM, after listening to a set of inspiring presentations on subjects ranging from European fibre trends to RF testing and 5G.
Speakers at the event are expected to include:
- “CoMeT Tube Testing of RF Transfer Impedance & Shielding Effectiveness” by Zdenek Samek (PPC) and Steve Wells (Virgin Media), supported by Chris Bailey (PPC).
- “F-connector Interface Adaptation” by Søren Baldus Kunze, RF Test Lab Supervisor, Corning.
- “The Women’s Engineering Society” by Dawn Childs, President, WES.
- “The State of Fibre and Key Market Trends” by Erzsébet Fitori, Director General FTTH Council Europe.
A panel on 5G will then convene with panellists from Vodafone, FTTH Council, Ericsson and the University of Surrey. This will be followed by the Society’s annual AGM, where the new Executive will be voted in by SCTE members. Afterwards, delegates are invited to stay for the SCTE’s networking cocktail reception.
