SCTE Benelux Group invites you to its IBC 2022 Lecture on Monday September 12, 2022 during IBC 2022 in the Amsterdam RAI. From 12:00 to 16:00 there is an interesting program on the theme of ‘Management of the last meter in the house’. There will be plenty of opportunity to meet and catch up again in person!

About the theme
Historically, the internet service provider (ISP) managed the network services and provided the connection to a modem, the 'last mile'. At the time, it was expected that customers would be technically capable of managing the local network and services in-house.
When LAN became WiFi, the ISP also started to take responsibility for the services in the building, the so-called 'the last meter'. Non-tech-skilled consumers now see the availability of services in the home as the responsibility of the ISP. This paradigm shift is a challenge for all service providers. In our IBC Session we focus on some of these challenges and discover how the industry is solving them.
